A little clarity

Before you pick up a pencil.

Answers to the practical questions about your lessons, photos and account.
What is Draw AI?

Draw AI is a drawing practice app that turns a reference photo into a four-stage pencil lesson: construction, main outline, details and shading. You make the drawing yourself, on paper, following the guide.

Can I try a lesson without an account?

Yes. Open the free everyday mug sample in the studio. It is a curated lesson with four aligned illustrations and works without an account or payment. The sample is clearly labelled and is not an AI generation from your photo.

Do I need drawing experience or special materials?

No previous drawing experience is required for the sample. A pencil, paper and an eraser are enough. Start with light construction lines and work at your own pace; you can revisit any stage.

Which reference photos work best?

Choose a clear JPEG, PNG or WebP with one main subject and visible lighting. Uploads can be up to 12 MB. You can crop and rotate your reference in the studio before submitting it. Very small, animated or unsupported images are rejected.

Are personal photo lessons available?

Personal lessons require an account, available tutorial credits and an installation with AI generation enabled. The studio shows the current availability. If generation is unavailable, your photo is never replaced with the sample.

How do tutorial credits work?

One credit is reserved when you submit a personal lesson. Repeating the same request does not charge twice. If generation fails, the reserved credit is returned. Your current allowance appears in Settings. Paid credit purchases are not available yet.

How do I verify my email?

Create an account with your email and follow the verification link sent to your inbox. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive. You can resend a verification email from the sign-in screen. Links expire after one hour. Google and Apple can verify your address through their sign-in service.

Who can see my photos and lessons?

References and personal lessons belong to your account and are not published to a public gallery. The AI provider processes your reference when you request a personal lesson. Private image links expire. See the privacy policy for service providers and data handling.

Can I delete my account and turn off analytics?

Yes. Settings includes account deletion and an optional analytics switch. Deleting your account removes its lessons and queues stored images for deletion. Analytics is off unless configured and you explicitly opt in; photos, emails and lesson text are excluded from analytics events.

Does the app assess or grade my drawing?

The current app guides you through a reference-based lesson. It does not inspect your finished drawing, provide live pencil feedback or assign a skill score. Use each stage’s checkpoint to compare proportions and shapes yourself.
